I can't believe that I found you, fate did a number on me. If you end up with my arms around you, it's meant to be. Well, maybe my crazy is showing, but baby I'm hooked on your touch. But wherever my life is going, there ain't no rush. 'Cause wherever you're goin', I'd like to go too, if you don't have anything better to do. I'd love to spend some more time together, so what are you doin' between now and forever? I'll take the blue with the gray days, I just pray the road will be long, 'cause if I'm beside you there's no way I can go wrong. - Bryan White

2nd Paint Job

This is an old picture of the room Clayton was sleeping in - it's our smallest bedroom and the people before us had painted it a dark green for whatever reason. It was like a cave.

Second coat of primer.

Took 3 coats of primer and nearly 3 layers of top coat to cover the dang green. Thanks to Mom and Dad for helping again so much!

Top coat layers completed.

Ceiling was a dingy cream color, so Jer freshened it up with white. (Can you see where the white stops?) All the moldings (base board, chair rail, door moldings and the doors) were the same dingy cream/gray/brown and we painted them all white as well. (Thanks, Mom!)

Crib set back up! Everything is all clean and fresh for baby! He'll just love the cheery yellow. =)

Clayton Went Skiing!

Ready for a fun-filled day!

Taking a break and having some snacks.

With some help from Dad.

On the ride home - what an exhausting day!

For the holiday on Monday this week, Jer took the day off and went skiing with most of his siblings (Chris and his wife Morgan, Jenny, Melanie, and Daniel) and took Clay for his first time.
Jeremiah said that Clay had fun for most of the day - minus the two times they fell together. =) Clayton even said he'd be willing to go again!
Thanks to Jenny for setting it all up.

New Room

Last weekend we had gorgeous 40-degree weather - perfect for painting!
Blue baby room is now a tan big boy room. Clay and Wesley are adjusting fairly well to sharing a room and they love their new trundle bed. Thanks to Mom and Dad and Ryan (sort of) for helping Jer and I paint. Next to go - green room!

Goodbye, Blue!

All done! Now to let it dry.

Helping Dad build the trundle.

Bed all put together and a picture of their first night.

The many stuffed animals got added to the room the next morning.

Clay sleeps up top and Wes sleeps in the trundle part, but Wesley sure loves to climb up there!

Pangea Handmade

Pangea Handmade

So, this is one of my favorite online jewelry shops. Her stuff is unique and vintage. I bought three necklaces from her awhile back and right now there is a giveaway going on for $30 from her shop. This is the necklace I want:
