I can't believe that I found you, fate did a number on me. If you end up with my arms around you, it's meant to be. Well, maybe my crazy is showing, but baby I'm hooked on your touch. But wherever my life is going, there ain't no rush. 'Cause wherever you're goin', I'd like to go too, if you don't have anything better to do. I'd love to spend some more time together, so what are you doin' between now and forever? I'll take the blue with the gray days, I just pray the road will be long, 'cause if I'm beside you there's no way I can go wrong. - Bryan White

Our Christmas

Christmas was lots of fun this year with a 3-and-a-half-year-old and an almost-two-year-old.
They were both so excited and loved everything they received. Clayton got everything from his Christmas list to Santa. (Batman pajamas, games, candy, toothbrush/toothpaste). And some extra surprises - the Toy Story table and chairs and some new play food.

Here's how our tree looked after Jer and I finished Christmas Eve.

Wesley loved opening his stocking and immediately unwrapped several chocolates and downed them. In the picture he is eating one, holding one, and looking for the next one.
The hat and Superman pajamas were in the same box and he quickly put the hat on himself and wore it the rest of the time we opened presents at our house. When he got his new pjs on he kept patting them and saying "Super the man!" =)

At my Mom and Dad's house in our new matching pajamas.

Wesley and Clayton got handmade aprons from my Mom. Wesley's is Winnie the Pooh and Clayton's is Mickey Mouse. They LOVE them.

Jer's parents gave them a drum/harmonica/tambourine kit that they also adore (and fight over who plays the drum, though I think Wes is more of our little drummer.)
All in all, it was a great day with great family and great food and great fun!

Hope everyone's New Year is bright and full of good things!
Love,
Jeremiah, Corynn, Clayton, and Wesley

Christmas Preparations

Our tree - in the front window, behind the couch.

Our Ward Christmas party was last night. It was a nice dinner and good conversation with friends. And then Santa showed up!!

Jer tried to put Wesley on Santa's lap, but Wes let out a shriek. It's hard to see in the picture, but he was freaking out a bit. He's a little better in the second picture once he had the candy cane in his little hand.

Clayton wasn't scared at all - well, he made Wesley go first and he was hesitant to approach Santa, but when he got up to him he ASKED to sit up on his lap!

Explaining what he wants for Christmas (Batman pajamas, toothbrush, toothpaste, candy, games.)

Way to go, Clayton!!
